Gluten Free, Vegan Cookie?

Anonymous
HI, I just found out there is a student in my son's class who is gluten-free and vegan. We were planning to do cookies for the class tomorrow and I would like to get one for him but can't find a bakery that makes gluten-free vegan cookies. Anyone have ideas? NW DC or Bethesda is ideal.

Thanks. I tried Something Sweet and Whole Foods.

Not sure how severe their gluten issues are, but sticky fingers offers wheat free cookies

Whole Foods bakery offers a nice assortment of GF, vegan cookies. They're damn good too!

I just saw that you went to WF. I'm really surprised. This is my go-to place for GF vegan cookies. Did you try a different one?

I've never seen them at my WF, either. Where do you get them?

Cookie aisle and freezer section! They have lots of kinds in the cookie aisle, and 2 or 3 in the frozen section.

Rise Bakery just opened in Adams Morgan - it's a totally gluten free bakery. You can call and see if they have something that is vegan as well.
