Gift idea 55+

Anonymous
Hi there-
I want to buy a small ($20-35ish) holiday gift for two secretaries at work who are between 55-65. They are both mothers of adult children and are caring for aging parents. They are not the massage/mani/pedi types. Any ideas for something that would be appreciated? Particular brands or product ideas are welcome.

Thanks!

Perhaps a gift basket with items that they enjoy. Do they like coffee, tea, chocolate? Do they like to read? Do they like lottery scratch tickets?
The basket does not need to be large - just add a few things that they may enjoy.

Everyone appreciates gift cards. I get them at CVS and several don't have an add-on fee to buy (ex. TJ Maxx or AMC) and many others. Then, I get a nice little gift bag, a greeting card, and a nice small bag of candy at CVS (usually have 2 for one deals) and then present it. It looks festive and it looks like it took a little more time than just handing someone a gift card w/o a greeting.

As I'm older now, and have everything I need. Now, I find I really enjoy restaurant gift cards. Believe me, I have had my fill of tchotchkes, mugs, pictures frames and scarves!
