Just back from a week in SD and I saw a comment in the 'so many single women online' thread regarding '10's'.
Please - there are very few "10s" in DC. Your HKS or YLS degree doesn't make you a 10. Not with your bitchy attitude and neurotic disposition (as evidenced daily by hundreds of thousands on DCUM). Go to CA (or CO) to see your competition - very fit/lithe, attractive surf and snow bunnies that look healthy, have a real joie de vivre, are approachable, friendly, not worn down cynics, open-minded. I'm no where near a '10' myself but when I 'bat out of my league' much easier in SD than in DC - something is quite wrong (esp considering that places like SD have a lot more men so women can be more picky on a numbers basis). Sure, they might not be as book smart as you all but they have you beaten on almost everything else. Unless you believe intelligence is over 50% hereditary, not sure what the value proposition is with dating/marrying stressed out DC wonkettes. |
| Okay. |
| No woman in her right mind would want to date a man who refers to women as "snow bunnies." You sound like a bitter idiot. |
|
Your opinion has been duly registered.
The women of DC will now consider themselves on notice. Thank you for your contribution to the discourse. |
| Wow, I wonder why you're not doing so well in DC? Maybe you should relocate somewhere where the women are dumber. |
| If only I could be a snow bunny and have a chance at a man like this... it truly would be a Christmas Miracle. |
| Lol @ "snow bunnies". Op will think they are tens until they gain a few pounds or get a few wrinkles and then he will downgrade them to fives. |
| I'm a DC 10, prob a 7.5 in LA, 8 in NYC. Oh well. |
| I'm glad that your time in South Dakota was so enlightening. Personally, I'm quite content being a DC 10. |

While obviously over the top in his postings, as a middle aged man that lives in the affluent subutbs of NYC I will tell you that the sense of entitlement I sense from the Moms is really abhorrent. They are cattie with the other Moms, truly don't want to work - I am not talking about when the kids are little I am talking about SAHM when all the kids are teens. As I watched my DW morph from a lovely youn women to a spoiled (no, I will not drive the minivan I want the Landcruiser), to yes you will pay for private school, no I will not work, suburban housewife I do believe the value systems on both coasts are different. I am not surprised divorce rates have spiked with the over 50 crowd. So, if you actually like your DH, its ok to tell him and thank him for his hard work. And no, no matter how nice your ass, unless you have your own money, you are not entitled to never work a day in your lives.

And if your DW supports the family, as I do, it's okay to thank her for all her hard work. And it wouldn't kill you to get on the treadmill each day to work off that disgusting beer gut. And while we're at it, how about cutting the hair a bit shorter now that you've got the huge bald spot. The way the longer hair around the edges bunches up around the bald spot makes me want to vomit. |
| Misogyny is SUCH a turn on! Nothing sexier than an insecure man who needs to bash women for being assertive, too smart and not fitting a physical standard of beauty that wholly unrealistic. |
