Small Gift for Specials Teachers

Anonymous
I am already going to give the classroom teacher, special ed teacher, OT, and speech therapist gifts.

I was thinking about a very small gift for the art teacher, PE teacher and music teacher because they never get gifts.

Would a Dollar store mug + $5 gift card to Starbucks and some chocolate coins be an OK small gift. I really don't think
I need to spend $20 for a gift for these teachers, but someone mentioned these teachers as never getting gifts from the
children and how sad it can be. (It was a former reading teacher that mentioned this to a PTA meeting.)

It's really nice of you to think of these teachers. I would skip the mug--have your child make a nice card and put the gift card in it.

This. Teachers have many mugs, but they always appreciate gift cards.

I give a gift card to a specials teacher if she/he really made my child's school experience much better. I also recognize them at teacher appreciation week and the end of the year. Usually it's just one or 2 specials teachers who really made my kid love that class and look forward to it.

Our PTA makes sure that these teachers also get a gift, like the other teachers.

My DD and I are sitting here right now doing gifts for her special teacheres. We're making each of them a salt dough ornament with their initial on it and a $10 Starbucks card.

Love that you're involving your child and hope she is enjoying the giving process!
