What's your favorite disgustingly delicious dessert?

Anonymous
I am going to make my own birthday cake this weekend, but I'm coming up empty handed for ideas.

I'm not crazy about super fruity desserts or crusty or cakey desserts. I love custard, chocolate, coffee, and desserts like tiramisu, tres leches cake, death by chocolate. I love love love ice cream "cakes" but can't do that because slightly lactose intolerant. Any ideas? What's your favorite calorie-packed no-regrets dessert?

Love creme brûlée, but that might not help the lactose intolerance issue.

Chocolate mousse topped with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.

Have an ice cream cake and take some lactase pills.

Aw shoot, lactose intolerant? I was going to suggest an icebox cake with chocolate wafers. Have you ever tried one? The wafers soften and meld with the cream into a cohesive yumminess. Sometimes I flavor the whipped cream with Kahlua. It's an easy dessert and everyone loves it. VERY rich though.

Tiramisu - alas I have to be gluten-free and dairy-free now so this is off my menu. I have dreams about it, though.

Oh but you can have an "ice cream" cake - just use soy or coconut ice "cream". So delicious!!! http://minimalistbaker.com/vegan-mint-chocolate-ice-cream-cake/

Roots Market in MoCo makes a gluten free and dairy free Tiramisu. It's usually in their prepared desserts aisle. Call ahead to see if they have it right now

I'd like to add that both the vanilla and cherry chocolate chip soy ice creams at Trader Joe's are very good.

And the strawberry coconut ice cream at Trader Joe's is good too.
