I wear sneakers every day and log a few miles every day in them. They always wear out in the same spot - a hole in the back, near the ankle, above the heel. All different brands, same spot. Am I the dumbest person in the world who doesn't know how to wear sneakers? This current pair is New Balance (and not Factory/Outlet, so it's not like they're defective) and they lasted from June until last week.
Suggestions? |
| Do you possibly have a bone spur that is rubbing through? Or it could be related to the way you walk/run. I'd advise going to a running store (even if you walk) and show them the shoe and have them help you try some on. |
| Is it from where you are pulling the shoe on & off? I picture the spot being where your thumb would be when pulling on. |
Kind of, but I assure you, my thumb is not so strong as to be able to create a worn-out hole. |
