Contact since playdates?

Has anyone had any contact with the schools they have applied to, other than to confirm application completion?
If so can you share? Thanks In advance. |

| Just contact from current school that someone was coming to observe to my son's school. According to the teacher the person stayed a few hours and made no contact with my son, simply observed and took notes. |

| PP, do you know if this is typical at your DC's school? I wasn't aware that schools observed children in their current school environment as part of the admission process. |

| I was a bit surprised by it too since the school never even mentioned it at the parent interview. His current teacher said sometimes they do that if they don't get a "good read" for lack of a better term at the playdate. |

| Lowell and I hear they do that when they don't get a good read at playdate. Also, if they have a bunch of kids from your kid's school applying. There are 5 applying from my son's school (although his teacher made it seem that only he was being observed --or I could be paranoid and reading in to it). |
