| Thinking of heading here tomorrow night - anyone been since it opened? |
| food was good but not really the atmosphere - a lot of old people! |
What do you consider old? Denny's old or just middle aged? |
|
The problem is location. It's one of about 5 places open in Pike & Rose. Very much feels like you're in the middle or a work in progress.
We were by there on Black Friday, and stores like the Gap were absolutely empty.. on Black Friday! |

My steak salad was repulsive. Soggy, with tons of cheese and very hard bits of bacon. I actually spit the bacon out thinking it was a foreign object.
Our friend's steak was ok - but not for the price. And the waiter was clumsy and knew nothing about the wine list at all. I would consider it an overpriced version of TGIF. No way we are going back. |
| We've had one meal there, and everyone in our party of five had positive comments about the food. I had the steak sandwich, and it was delicious. Our waiter was annoying though -- kept "checking in" like every 3 minutes. |
| I never really got Del Friscos...if you want upscale corporate steakhouse, why not go Mortons, Palm, Capital Grille. It is basically Longhorn with better mood lighting. |
| very poor and slow service. for the price, better experiences at the steakhouses mentioned above. |
| We actually liked it. Went with 4 of us and all had a good meal and a bottle of good red wine. I think it's nice not to have to travel down to Bethesda for a decent steakhouse. I'd go back. |
| Waitress was great. Food was blah. |
+1 don't get the steak salad |
| A co-worker and I went for happy hour and sat in the bar. No happy hour prices. We shared a flat bread and each had 2 drinks, the bill was $60. |
