New Car Fees - MD

Pricing out several different cars and trying to figure out my out the door cost. Every dealer seems to lump all the fees into one with out a break-out. Looking at SUV's and hoping to transfer tags from current SUV to the new. Here is what I have figured so far:
Tax - 6% Dealer Fee - $300 max Title Fee - $100 Registration - $187 (does this apply since I am transferring tags) Lien Fee - $20 (required because of financing?) Tag Transfer - $10 Can anyone who recently purchased let me know if this looks correct? |

| Don't pay any "dealer fee." That's what dealers charge chumps who don't know any better. |

| According to MD law dealers are allowed to charge up to $300 maximum, no limit in VA or DC. It is a tax grab for MD as the 6% tax also applies to this fee. |

| Dealer fee is BS. Once you negotiate your final price, tell them that you aren't paying that $300. I do it all of the time. It's just extra profit for them. |
