If you are thinking of a gift for a family, this is a really good deal. I've never seen them go lower than $299.

I don't understand the point of these. I have made perfect frozen margaritas in a $50 oster blender...

I don't think they make a better margarita than my kitchen aid blender. My friend has one and uses it, it takes up a lot of space and makes a bit of a mess to clean up. Just another gadget.

My parents have one. It doesn't make a better margarita than a blender. You think you're going to get a nice frozen one similar to a restaurant but it just turns out like a blender.
