Limit number of visitors?

Do you let your kid invite as many friends over at one time or do you limit how many kids are in the house? After my 10 year old son having 4 kids over yesterday, I had to put my foot down about who and how many came over today. He seems to have 3 friends that are whiny, loud because of arguing and always screaming that's not fair...which drives me crazy! The rest of his friends are well behaved.

No limits, but if they get annoying I make them play outside.

Yes, we have a small house and I limit to 3 or 4 girls total including my DD and this depends on the girls.

No blanket rule, but case by case. Most children we know are perfectly well-behaved, but a few tend to go off more if another, specific, child is present in the group.

Np. Is really never too cold to play outside for at least an hour.

I don't have a blanket number of kids that can't be exceeded. Is more the specific mix of personalities.

They put on their hats coats mittens and suffer. Or they go find someone else's house to play at or else everyone goes home.

I try to channel my inner 1970s mom and remember how it was growing up. Mom used to lock us out of the house!

No limit, but when they star getting on my nerves I have no problem sending them outside.

+1. If it is that cold they will choose to behave and come inside. Kids in Siberia play outside all the time.
