Need venue recommendations for anniversary party in NoVa.

We are throwing our parents a surprise party in May for a milestone anniversary, and are looking for venue recommendations in northern Virginia - Fairfax county or Arlington county, we'd even consider a little farther west. Preferably a Sat. evening dinner for about 75 people, it could be buffet or seated, with beer and wine. Like everyone else these days, we're budget-minded, and hoping to do this for around $35 a person - is this even possible? I'm not looking for a fancy wedding reception type affair, it could be more casual, maybe a restaurant with a large room. The hotels and banquet halls are just too pricey, and they prefer large weddings on weekends anyway. With the slow economy I was hoping to negotiate an affordable party, rather than doing it at home. Thanks for any suggestions!

I went to an anniversary dinner at Maggianos at Tysons. They have private rooms and the food is generally good.

I would recommend Magiano's as well. They have a nice set up and its pretty inexpensive.

OP here - thanks for the Maggiano's idea, I'll look into that. Are there any other places around D.C. that anyone has been to, or planned a party or rehearsal dinner recently? Thanks!

Clyde's in Tyson's has private rooms. I bet they are more expensive than Maggianos though. Sat night may be tough. If you are willing to do Sunday night you might get better pricing.
