What career path would you recommend for a humanities major?

Common thinking throughout both American and UK universities, seems to be the emphasis on 'transferable skills'. It's up to you to transfer whatever skills you have to wherever you want to go.

It think that field of study will prepare for you to be a career as a graduate student.

I'm a lawyer. I would not suggest law at this time. I'm urging college-aged children towards stem and computer engineering with side courses in business, accounting, etc, and foreign languages like Chinese and Portuguese. Also urging business school.
