| I am planning to meet my family for lunch. Any places with toddler friendly dining near around there? We cam travel as far as National Harbor. |
| Cafeteria at American Indian museum is near botanical gardens |
|
Ted's Bulletin on Barracks Row (8th Street)
Park Tavern (flatbread pizza at the ice rink in the Navy Yard area) |
|
Tortilla Coast on 1st and D. Possibly Bullfeathers (on the same block)
Farther afield is Barrack's Row (Matchbox, Ted's Bulletin) Cheap options - We The Pizza and Good Stuff (basically fast food) |
+1 this has something for everyone and you can sit by the window with a view of the water |
| navy Yard now has a bunch of stuff - a Takorean restuarant (we took our toddler there, its casual but high chairs and places to sit down), there are some chains, a Potbelly's....a sushi spot. |
This. Definitely. Way better than you would expect from a museum cafeteria. |
| We are going to Bertucci's which is a couple blocks from Botanical Gardens. It's my kids favorite restaurant. I don't like it so much though. |
+2 just note that it can be a bit pricey for cafeteria food - but worth every penny. Also, there's a kids area up in the third floor (I think) that my kids enjoy. |
