Four windows close together - window treatment?

My living room has 4 separate double hung windows (with grids making them 6 over 6 panes) right next to each other. There is about 3' of wall space on either end. What can I do for window treatments? I'm tired of just sheer panels all across although sometimes I put a panel on each end for color) The room gets no direct light so I need them open as much as possible but they face the street so we need something for privacy and warmth in winter. There is no space between them so trying to treat them as 2 sets of 2 doesn't work.

Cellular shades would be a nice clean look. We have a couple of triple windows in our house and Next Day Blinds put up super-wide shades that covered all three windows.

In our bedroom, I wanted more insulation so I put 120" pleated drapes across the whole wall. It works well and adds a nice dramatic look when they're closed.

I have this. I did floor length curtains over each window with individual rods.

I second the cellular shades idea. They provide a simple, clean look and are easy to open. You can also choose from light filtering or room darkening.

I second the plantation shutters I did this to the same kind of windows in my family room. I've had them for 16 years and they still look fantastic and go with any decor.. I've changed mine many times- worth the investment to have them custom made and installed

A PP here. If the room receives no direct light, then plantation shutters will block so much of the windows that the room will hardly get any light at all.

I have plantation shutters on 3 windows like this. You can buy ones with a larger shutter opening to let in more light
