Hi, I am looking for any insight on moving to Glenn Dale, MD...specifically interested in safety concerns and Holy Trinity School.

I will be commuting to Rockville for about two years and will then stay home, and my husband will communte to Brandywine.

We are coming from Rockville and have four kids. We are a multicultural family

I live in the area close by in greenbelt and we often travel through Glenndale. The are is every safe with a fire and police station nearby. It's a bit rural (the 2-8 mile stretch on 193 greenbelt Rd depending on which direction of course). We have lived here for 5 years. With a 5 yr old and 1 year old. Very pleased with the diversity, community activities, mostly friendly and social people and amenities. We are also a multi-cultural family. Enjoy : )

Our son goes to Holy Trinity and we are very happy. He is thriving, getting a great education, and the school community is awesome. We live in Bowie but the Glenn Dale area is very nice. I wouldn't be concerned with major safety issues.

Quiet suburban neighborhoods. Close to amenities in Bowie & Woodmore. Also Glendale Elementary is a pretty good school
