Networking with non-profits or a non-profit career fare?

| I'm new to the DC area and would love to meet non-profits in the area. I am looking for work in the right organization, maybe some volunteer opportunities and my DH is also interested in getting involved in an organization's board that we believe in. Thanks for any insight. |

| We are not limited to any area. We both have a wide variety of beliefs and both have worked on a wide variety. We want to believe in the organizations mission for greater good, most importantly. Thanks. |
