Where can I find Ballerina Tea? Preferably in the area Chevy Chase/DC/Silver Spring.
Thanks! |
| There is a Nutcracker tea at the Ritz Carlton that dd and I used to go to. |
Thank you but i am looking for a grocery store that carries this tea locally. |
| I also thought you meant a little girls ballet tea time event! There's a tea called ballerina??? |
| It is just a laxative tea. You could just get smooth move tea from whole foods or the health food store. |
| Seems like an offensive name then or am I reading too much in to it - a laxative tea called ballerina tea? Is this a code word for tea for people with eating disorders? |
It's made in China. There eating disorders are allowed and American political correctness in naming stuff is not a priority. I still chuckle when I see tea from "Royal King" in Asian stores. BTW, Ballerina tea is sold in H-Mart and Lotte. |
Thanks! |
Thank you. |

Yes, we certainly don't want a bunch of political correctness about a disorder that can ruin someone's health and even lead to death.

I saw some at the HMart in Wheaton on Georgia av. |
Not op but this is what I was hoping the thread would be about. Do you recommend this? Is there dancing to watch? What age dd? |
I do recommend this event. I took my dd when she was younger and she loved it! There is a children's plate and sweets and an adult plate and sweets. While you eat, there is a local ballet company that performs portions of the ballet. Each little girl leaves with a nutcracker. We have several from the years that we went. Super cute! I think it fills up pretty quickly, so you should reserve as soon as possible. |
| Ballet Nova has theirs at Ritz Sunday, Dec. 15 or whatever date that weekend that is Sunday. |
