| You want ice from McDonald's? |
| I heard you can just show up with a cooler and they'll fill it for free. |
I remember they advertised ice by the bag in the past and since I got 2 kids in the back seat with me, it's convencience to use their drive thru to pick up on the way home. I need 2 bags to brine a turkey.

| I was traveling, no in Dc area, and they were selling bags. |
| The one in Gaithersburg sells ice by the bag. |
| Chick-fil-A sells ice by the bag. |
| Just go to a 7-11... they're literally everywhere. Literally. There are 3 within a 1/2 mile radius of my house. |
Just clear out one of your vegetable crisping drawers, wash it really well, and put your turkey and brine inside an oven bag (the only time I use these) in the crisper. This is how I've done it the last several times. Much less anxiety than trying to use a cooler. Of course, this is assuming your turkey will fit in your veggie bin and there's somewhere to put the items that came out of your veggie drawer.
Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question specificially.

I thought my in-laws were the only ones who prepared food in the crisper drawer. I find it very off-putting but I guess it's a thing. |
Giant sells bags of ice. |
The roasting bag serves as a liner, and it's just to keep the brining turkey cold. Seems more sanitary to me than turkey in a cooler for days at questionable temps. But then, our crisper is just as likely to contain beer as veggies. |
