If you are travelling North on 270 on Wed. 11/26, what time are you leaving?

We'll be leaving the beltway onto 270 around 2pm.
Just wondering how many of you we'll see on the road.

| I was leaving tomorrow around noon, and now we are leaving tonight at 6 or 7 pm depending on when we are done packing. You should leave tonight. |

I would LOVE to leave tonight, but DH can't get out of work until noon tomorrow. We're leaving the instant he gets through the door, but that's the earliest we can go. Sucks, but whatever... |

If I were you, I would travel Thursday morning instead. The weather will be clear, and the traffic on Thanksgiving morning is much, much lighter than on Weds in general. We've traveled north on 270 every year, and going on Thanksgiving morning (around 7/8am) is smooth sailing. I agree with PP that traveling on Weds at noon would probably be the worst due to the weather. |
