Anyone else out there who is a fan. Just saw a news article on Yahoo (of all places) saving that he was found dead this after in Mary-Kate Olsen's apartment in NYC.

He's a dream boat and loved him in The Patriot. So sad.

I didn't hear he was DOA in MKOlsen's apt. though.

It was drug related apparently.

Update (2:30 p.m. Pacific): NY Times says Heath was in Mary-Kate Olsen's apartment.

The actor Heath Ledger was found dead this afternoon in an apartment in Manhattan inhabited by the actress Mary-Kate Olsen, according to the New York City police."

Update (2:40 p.m. Pacific): CNN says, "The pills appeared to be over-the-counter sleeping medication, said police spokeswoman Barbara Chen."

Update (2:46 p.m. Pacific): FOX News is reporting that the apartment was not owned by Mary-Kate Olsen. Also, Heath was found nude, face down on a bed with "pills strewn around him."

Just read an update and there is an autopsy scheduled for tomorrow.

He died in his apartment, and was naked and in bed with prescription sleeping pills. He was discovered by a massage therapist and his housekeeper. It seems to be an accident, not suicide.

It is sad, I feel for that child.
