Travis and Taylor

Agree! But, no one complains when a man does it! How dare a young, attractive, talented young woman do it? Hypocrites.

You make a fair point

Agreed, but what angers me about her is that she is championed as a role model while killing the world your kids will inherit. Jeff is no one’s role model.

She also had a UK chef fly from London to Sydney to cook for her and her team.

No she didn’t. If you read the article and not the headline you’d see that the chef owns the restaurant in her hotel and flew herself back from her other restaurant in the UK so she could be there *if* Taylor wanted to dine at the restaurant. It was a publicity play by the chef/owner for the chef/owner.

You’d all fly private in a heartbeat, don’t even try to tell me otherwise. If you could you would.

I don’t know why I’m still not buying this relationship. I mean, they’d have to be really good actors, and why would they put themselves through that, in such an enormously public way? But still.

They don’t seem like a likely couple. Both are top in their respective professions, but they’re really so different, and when the novelty runs out…I just don’t see what they can build on.

Maybe they enjoy recreational sex. Wouldn’t be the first.

The human equivalent to what is cvs in this decade, or a bank a decade or two ago. Overexposed.

A lot of us do complain when men do it. I feel like some people let Taylor off the hook for gross billionaire behavior because she's a OP star, actually. But she's not that young. And lots of billionaires are talented or skilled.

They should all be held accountable. No exceptions.

Pop star, not OP star.

It's not relevant. There are lots of things that many of us would do if given the chance that are immoral or unethical. That's the whole thing about power. Didn't you read Julius Caesar in high school. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

It's good and healthy for people to criticize the rich and powerful for doing things that are harmful. Well guess what, flying private jets all over the world like they are a private car service is harmful. It would also be harmful if I did it, if I had the opportunity to do so.

Trying to hold the powerful accountable for their bad behavior is good. This celebrity-worshipping bootlicking some of you do, just because Taylor is YOUR problematic fave, is what's gross.

I'm not bootlicking anyone. I would kill to fly private all over the world. I at least admit that.

They have no chemistry. However, I think it is a real relationship strategically placed for public consumption.

She doesn't appear to have chemistry with anybody, though.

This gets said on every Taylor thread about the plane but come on. None of us want Taylor flying commercial. Any airport she goes near would be filled with fans - even the more obsessed ones buying tickets to wait with her at the gate. Can you imagine paparazzi interest in her bag items at the security line?

Any of us would be livid with the traffic and congestion and so on.

She’s living out her HS fantasy of dating the captain of the football team. I’m surprised that she didn’t wear his jersey at the game. He’ll be good material for her next album.
