Teaching online

I have a master's degree in journalism and some experience mentoring young journalists, along with many years working in this area. In grad school, I was a teaching assistant, although that was a while back.

I am interested in learning more about teaching courses (English, composition, journalism) online with the idea that I might teach a class for extra cash to supplement my job (writing/editing) now and eventually transition to part-time online teaching in retirement in about 12 years.

Can anyone suggest resources to learn about the field or sources for job listings? If you could share any tips or experience that would be helpful.
