Best Place for Happy Hour on U Street

So everyone keeps telling me that U Street is thee place to go for Happy Hour...problem is that I work too far away to just run over and check out spots. But I'd love to get some friends together from work.

We need a place with great happy hour prices-and professional singles who are ready to mingle would be great too!

I'm a huge fan of the happy hour at the bar at Bistro la Bonne. Good happy hour specials (food and drinks) and a great vibe. It's not huge, but I've gone in groups of 6-8 and it's fine.

14th Street is way better than U. If it has to be U try The Gibson or Marvin.

Around 14th and Q (or maybe R?) is Barcelona -- fantastic happy hour spot just a few blocks off U.
