dear fashion police,
is it tacky to wear black socks or stockings with black peep toe shoes? |
| Yes. |
| No. I like this look. |
| vulgar. |
| I don't care for it, but it's been quite trendy the last several years. So if you like it, do it. |
| YES. unless the peep is really, really small. |
| No. But people do any sort of vulgar thing nowadays you may as well wear clown shoes |
|
Vulgar. LOLLLLZZZZZ.
Depends on your style and your environment. On the cool youngsters, wear that look with impunity. If you are older and/or merely trying to get away with wearing peep toes with an otherwise conservative or boring outfit, then don't do it. Here's how it's done well: http://www.shoeperwoman.com/2012/12/peep-toes-with-tights.html And badly: http://www.thefashionpolice.net/2010/04/ask-the-fashion-police-are-stockings-with-sandals-a-crime-of-fashion.html |
| ^^like I said, many people, often young people, dress like vulgar clowns so there's that |
| It's November, clowns |
| I don't mean to hijack the thread but what about peep toe shoes with pants in the winter (so no stockings)? I have a pair of peep toe shoes that look wintery to me (forest green with a gold buckle) but I bought them at the end of the summer so they are not winter shoes. |
| Don't do it |
Yes, ladies. Just stick with your beige cashmere sweater, Tod's loafers, and helmet hair. |
This is a joke, right? Yuck. |
No. Why are you wearing peep toe shoes in winter? |
