Any items of note at Harris Teeter?

Anonymous
I'm usually a Giant shopper, once in a while at Safeway. I've never been to a Harris Teeter but there's one close to my kid's school that I've been meaning to try. Is there anything they do particularly well or are there any items that are out of the ordinary? Thanks.

They carry some standard "southern" items that are otherwise hard to find around here, for anyone who happens to be into that. Think White Lily flour, Duke's mayo...

They have this tiramisu flavored mascarpone at mine. SO good on a bagel!

The Teeter brand red pepper hummus is good. So much better than Sabra and other pre-made ones.

What section is this in?

That sounds good! Is it in the "fancy" cheese section or over in the dairy aisle?

I have to do all of my shopping at Harris Teeter. Ok, I don't have to, but it's by far the closest to my house.

One thing they have that I LOVE is the Cabot 10% Plain Greek Yogurt. So good. I only see the reduced fat version anywhere else.

There are other things that occasionally I have trouble finding at Giant, but this is the only one that bugs me because we buy it all the time.

Yes! Very good. Not crazy about their sushi but it's much much better than Giants.
Speaking of Southern - saw boiled peanuts there today!
