Our freezer door was left slightly ajar. The temp never got above freezing, but items definitely started to thaw out.
I buy big bags of frozen, individually vacuum-sealed salmon filets from Whole Foods. The salmon pieces in one of the bags in particular were definitely partially thawed -- soft to the touch but still partially frozen. This was a couple of days ago and I just closed the freezer door and decided I'd make a decision later. Do you all think I need to toss them? |

According to this site it should still be safe to eat, but there may be some textural changes.

| As long as the temp didn't go over 40 degrees should be safe. |
