Let go of dates going no where

Anonymous
Have two men I met on match who I like. Seems to have turned into friends relationships. Still like them both but I'm thinking I should let it go since I really want to find a real relationship. They are still contacting me so hard to say no but I suspect I am wasting valuable time. Single mom with limited time.

Your head is most definitely in the right place.

Good for you OP.

You know what you want + you do not want to waste your time on something that you know in the long run will not lead anywhere.

So I think bowing out gracefully now is in the best interest of everyone involved.

Right move, OP. Also good not to waste their time.

As a formerly single dad, I know I would have very much appreciated that honesty while I was dating.

Sounds like your putting the cart before the horse. What makes YOU worthy of a "real relationship?" These men barely even know you.

I'm not sure I understand. I hope I am worthy of a real relationship. Of course, I have no idea if it would work with either or if either is interested…but I have been getting together with both on and off for 3 months or so every 2-3 weeks. Occasional emails/texts. One kissed me initially but has not the last two times we got together. The other one has never hugged or kissed me although I finally hugged and gave him a peck on the cheek last time we got together. Just not clear to me either seems interested in more than a friendship. Suppose I could have a straightforward discussion about it next time I get together with either…which I probably should do. But feel a bit like I don't really need more friends…what I really would like is to be in a relationship with someone.
