I am on match.com. Last night I received an email from a guy who my ex-husband used to work with. I only know this because they are both in the same industry and the guy signed his name on his email and he has a very unusual name. My ex talked about him a bit years ago. They haven't worked together for a very long time.

I know the guy has no idea who I am (the ex wife of his old co worker). I remember meeting him once. Should I reply to him? If so, should I mention my ex husband?

However I would hold off mentioning your ex-husband for now + just cross that bridge when and if you ever do get to it.

Why would you not reply back? Mentioning your ex hubby to him or anyone else during initial email is just creepy as hell.
