How often do you text pics/video to the grandparents?

Especially if they are long distance and don't see the kids.
My mom says her friend gets texts from her daughter all day long . A pic of the baby napping, a pic of him eating dinner, a video of him babbling etc. I take tons of pictures but only text my mom a couple of times a month.
What is typical?

My mom - almost every day per her request and they see him at least once a week!

Mil- when I catch him doing something really cute or silly so maybe once a week or once every other week? They see him a couple of times a month.

DS is almost 2

I do it like once every 4 months. To the ILs almost never, and video never. If you don't have the latest gadget that makes it easy to send them a picture or video, it is time consuming. But, we skype once a week.

My mom, monthly or more frequently if there's an event. MIL - never. She takes photos of DC and distributes them all over creation.

Few time a week. Sometimes daily for one set of grandparents out of the country.

A couple of times a week I send the same pic or video to all the grandparents. My FiL would like me to send every single picture I take ever, but that's just not going to happen. My husband sends nothing to his parents, so I take care of it, because I know they love seeing DS.

My MIL does the same! Posts the pics on Facebook too without asking.

Almost daily to my parents. Couple times a month to MIL. Kids are 2 and 8 months.

Set up a shared photostream with your iPhones. That way anytime you take a picture, you can post it to a shared cloud.

We Facetime with my mother daily, and try to Facetime with my inlaws once a week (they are selfish and don't make time to do it). I send pictures normally once a week to a family email group.

Neither set of grandparents live close, so we facetime once a week. I send random texts to my mom because she's the only one who has a smartphone.

We maintain a blog that where we post pics, videos, and little anecdotes a few times a week. The grandparents and other family members can check there for their fix as much as they want!
