Chalkboard?

Small chalkboard wall (2 feet wide) in kitchen. Yes or no? Like it, but worry the trend is way over.

I think I'd find magnetic paint more versatile. Less obvious than chalkboard paint as well.

Fine but do it on something separate like plywood or wallboard and attach that to the wall. It may not be very easy to paint over.

I prefer a whiteboard. Trend? you make it work for your family. don't have to follow trends. no need to follow the jones or the smiths.

We did a small one for my daughter. It keeps her occupied while I'm cooking so I can keep an eye on her.
