Silver Spring Restaurant Suggestions - Multi-Generational Dinner

Anonymous
It's been a while since we've been out in Silver Spring. What are your favorite restaurants for a nice (early) family dinner? We have two preschoolers and much older grandparents, so we are looking for a not-too fancy, not-too loud restaurant with a decent kids menu. The grownups are tired of pizza and pasta. Thai, Ethiopian food are out (kids would not touch). I was thinking Jackie's but a look at their menu has gotten too fancy since I've last been there. Where do you go for an easy dinner out with options for all tastes?
