Rainforest Cafe Type restaurant?! Help!

Hi, hope someone can help us! A friend of mine just tried to take her young (7) son to the RainForest Cafe in Towson and found it is closed! Does anyone know of a themed/experience restaurant similar to RainForest Cafe for kids? She doesn't think he would be too into Medieval Times, but something similar, and he's not all about Bugaboo Creek either. She lives near the Rockville area, but would travel a bit.

Thanks for any feedback!

Probably because the food was so awful and over priced. Sorry.

My little kids like Hard Rock Cafe in Baltimore - there's a car over the bar, fun music playing, and a drum set in the corner.

Also Sunflower in Vienna - its very...ummmm.....floral. The food is vegetarian.

They unexpectedly closed the one in Towson. We went right before New Years and 2 weeks later, it was just closed. I didn't hear anything about it and I live in the area.

I would hardly call Sunflower fun for kids. But the food is very good.

You pulled this post up just to make that comment?

OP, what about Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse. Food is not terrific but there is a bear & moose on the wall. I think they sing. Woodpeckers, fox, other stuffed wildlife that will move around and sing. Again, food is like Applebee's at best but the kids love it.

I'm 17:10. I pulled up this post to read the suggestions, as I'm always looking for fun restaurants to take my kids. I didn't want the OP to go to Sunflower expecting something that's super kid friendly (in terms of decor, ambiance, etc.) and be disappointed. But, as I said, the food is good.
