| Is Halloween a big pizza delivery night in DC? (i.e, will it take over an hour to get the pizza?) Just trying to figure out ToT timing, and we are new to the area (Capitol Hill) |
in my experience...yes! we did it once and learned the lesson. Make pasta
|
| Yes! It's a busy night. We have leftovers. I would choose carry out over pizza delivery or breakfast for dinner or something simple like that. |
| The Potomac Pizza guy in Chevy Chase told me that it is their busiest night of the year. |
| Yes. Expect delays, order mishaps. |
| You could order it early, maybe for lunch and then warm it up for dinner. |
Yes! On the Hill, expect about 1 hour. See if you can go early to get the $5 pies at 7th Hill for eat in right at 5, before Hilloween. It will be packed but less fraught (honestly) than waiting on delivery/ |
+1 This is smart. The earlier the better. |
| I ordered last night and got extra to reheat for tonight. |
| Order now! The pizza places will stop picking up the phone. |
| 35 minutes from online order to delivery. At 530 though. I was impressed |
| Or digiorno, but I prefer freschette |
| A bit late now, but we were told 90 minutes delivery time at 4:30pm from Potomac pizza. So we carried out and got stuck in friendship heights rush hour. And there was a mix up with credit cards while I was there. But it was tasty and now I have indigestion. Happy Halloween! |
Lol. Sorry PP but I applaud your good attitude! We actually made a pizza with stuff from TJ's. |
