Private Golf Courses MOCO

I know there's a large handful of private golf clubs in Montgomery County. Does anyone have any personal recommendations?
We live up county so Manor, Argyle, etc. are in our area. |

| Member at Argyle. Suits me fine for the times I play. Manor probably has the better course since the renovation. |

Is everyone referring to Worthington Manor?
We currently belong to Montgomery CC. It recently got new owners so we'll have to wait and see how that plays out. But, I do like how family friendly it is and DH likes many of the regulars he plays golf with. |

| I grew up in the neighborhood beside Manor CC, but none of the families with kids were members. Seemed like it was the blue hair crowd. How is the atmosphere there now? Any members want to weigh in? I assume it's not a waiting list kind of place like the exclusive Bethesda/Chevy Chase/Potomac kind of places. |

| Argyle has the worst golf course in MOCO, Manor's course is nice, but pricey to join. I love Montgomery CC's golf course, and it is cheap. I'm a member at Columbia, and while we have a nice course, I often like to go to MCC because it's a lot more laid back. |
