Since the kids are 2 hours early on Friday and off Monday and Tuesday, I'm trying to think of what I can do with DD. My husband will be at home with her since I can't take leave. I thought about Brentwood Arts but that's a bit of a ways since I'm in South County. What kinds of things do you do with your kids during long breaks?
Thanks! |

Check out other PGparks community centers near you and see what's up. They've probably got spring, fall, and winter break camps.
I have an older kid who is totally OK at home for a couple hours, but when he was smaller, I'd sign him up for Ice & Easy days at Wells ice rink, or other similar stuff if I couldn't take time off. If your husband is home, maybe they can just hang out or go to a playground. I've also taken my child to work with me on occasion, which thankfully nobody at my office has a problem with. |

I'm the OP from this thread:

| Brentwood is good. When my kids were younger, I would also swap with other parents. Now that they're a bit older, I leave them on their own and/or take the day off to hang out with them. |
| As it will be Halloween, I imagine there will be tons going on. |
