Did anyone go to St. John's Academy open house this afternoon?

How was it?
From the website, I feel it is for Catholics only (LaSalle education).
I would appreciate any input.

Our family couldn't make it. They only have one open house and when I asked if there would be another chance to look at the school they essentially said "no"

We went and really liked it. Very well run. Definitely a heavy emphasis on religion but it is a Catholic school so I appreciate that. I was worried about it being overly sporty but the student who walked us around doesn't play a sport.

My child will apply but not sure he will get in.

In Mclean? Why would someone not get in. It id a parish school.

St. John's College High School? There are many schools in this area with St. John in their name, but they are the only LaSallle school I know of with an open house yesterday.

DD went. She like it although found it very large compared to what she is used to.

My daughter liked it very much. Impressive facilities. Head of School was great. A little more boisterous than she was used to but the students did a great job putting a good face on the school. We know many who are very happy there.
