Bang Salon

Anyone go and happy with their stylist? I want someone who can cut my shaggy bobbed hair into the same style, trendy but not too wild...

I can go to either the U St. Salon or the newer one on 15th.

Thanks!

I went and was really happy with my haircut/style but not completely thrilled with the coloring. My stylist was Brittany -I no longer go because they have a really strict policy where if you are more than 15 minutes late they will not see you and you are charged the full fee for your scheduled service. My first time I was late due to horrible DC traffic and was charged $130 for nothing.... kinda sucked!

I'm sure there was a good reason, but I'm still wondering why you'd drive to a Bang salon! They're both in such walkable, transit accessible neighborhoods. Were you on a bus stuck in traffic?

I used to go to the Verizon salon and really liked Nicki. However, she books like a month of more in advance and it is hard for me to plan that far out. I also moved in to MD and parking down there is crazy. Thus, I switched back to the U Street location where I originally started and am seeing Brittany. She has been there quite awhile and gave me a really great cut. I had been pulling my hair back for quite awhile so it is nice to like to wear it down again.

I've been to both and am not a fan of either, to tell you the truth. A lot of hype for a mediocre cut is my assessment on my two visits.

Try Yodit at Salon Revive on 9th St and U NW - it's an Aveda salon. She's won award competitions for her 'dos and is super sweet.

I forgot who I was seeing, but I got highlights that were SO bad, sent me packing back to my upscale salon in Georgetown. Ugh.
