Just curious re sock puppeting

Is it a single person who keeps posting in the Off Topic Hannah Graham thread (http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/120/416196.page) about the property owner not searching her property? See posts 10/19 21:12, 21:13, 21:14, 21:19, 22:00 - all pretty much made to look like different posters. Same thing again yesterday and today: 10/23 9:49, 10/24 6:26, 10:22, 10:24, etc. In some cases it's clear it's the same poster, but in other cases not. I just have a hard time believing there is more than one person harping on this issue!

It's not important, but I'd feel better if I knew it was someone sock puppeting.

Frankly, I don't care enough to check. I'm not sure I could force myself to read that thread further. I checked briefly earlier and there was more than one poster upset with the landowner, but it could have transitioned into a single poster.

NP here. I'm normally a huge Jeff cheerleader but I feel like this response was kind of rude and dismissive. Jeff, you take a few minutes to investigate dumber shit than this all the time. If you are too busy right now, you could have said that, but since the OP obviously felt it was important enough to take the time to write you about it, it seems kind of douchey to just be like, nope, I don't care enough to even read it. It's your site, obviously, but I feel like you're usually nicer.

OP here. Thanks for the response; I appreciate that. I was just hoping it was only one person who was obsessed/fixated on that odd issue, but I guess not. Who knows, maybe one of the two has a personal connection to the victim/family/case - in which case I could totally understand why someone might be less than rational on the subject.

Anyway, not really important, and sorry to hassle you with a trivial thing.

PP - thank you, but I'm totally ok with the response. I knew this wasn't something important to look into at all - it was just a bit freaky to me, to be honest, to see such fixation on (what seems to me to be) such a bizarre point.

I'm curious about that too, OP. And also not sure why Jeff was so dismissive. The anti-landowner person is basically slandering that old woman.

Not really. Her name was never mentioned. It was clear that the body was left there and that she neglected to search. Why does it hit so close to home for you? Unless it is your property, it shouldn't matter.

I'm sorry if my response came off that way. I could have said that I was too busy, but that would not have been truthful. The truth is I simply didn't want to do it and I don't see why I shouldn't be honest about that. Maybe on a different day, I would want to do it. But, today wasn't such a day. To be clear, my frustration is not with the OP of this thread, but with the people that keep posting inane things on threads of that sort. The landowner is way, way down on the list of people to blame for this terrible situation.
