The bubble over the head of the woman on the left: She’s so relatable in those fatigues and pumps. We both are afraid of trans kids, so we have that in common. I wanna be a mama like her.

This made me laugh.

Where in America do you see women dress in camo pants and heels? Wear gloves? Capes? Besides a theme park or two???

I’m jealous of her full head of beautiful hair after chemo. Mine is so thin.

You, too, can buy a wig

I'm glad you got through chemo <3

I live in Oregon now and no one, absolutely no one, dresses in a style anywhere close to this where I live.

I think the woman on the left is rolling her eyes behind those sunglasses.

I live in Florida and no one I see dresses like this!

She always looks like she's just been pulled offstage from a community production of something - Cinderella or, here, Grease.

I live in Minnesota and if anyone dressed like that I think we’d all side-eye her and feel bad that she doesn’t know how to dress herself.

Gloves/Cape - Sure the average woman might not wear them, but it looks like the height of sophistication to every woman who thought Jackie O was a style icon. They might not wear them but I bet they think its elegant and fashionable.
"Mama" teeshirts - seen at every elementary school bus drop off
Heels and cargo pants - terrible combo! But Kim Kardashian wears them and people seem to love her sooooo......

Sure, I would never be caught dead in any of these outfits and nor would anyone who is reading this. But there are a 150 million women in America and DCUM is not representative of the majority of them. I might hate all of her outfits but I get what shes doing.

She’s going after the “Momma Bear” crowd who love to self-congratulate on Facebook about the infinite sacrifices they make because that’s just what Momma Bears (translation: the good moms) do. Pretty large overlap with MLM Mompreneurs.

Except her husband just ended permanent alimony for women in Florida, and signed a six week abortion ban. Gooood luck.

I think you have to look at her as more like a pop star on tour than a normal person. These are stage costumes and stage hair and makeup. Which is doing what she wants for photos and making her look extraordinary compared to normal people, even though it comes with an unavoidable weirdness.

The bigger problem is her husband is a huge p$$y who won’t take on trump and is just going to fizzle. I don’t know what the outfit is for that, probably Chiara La Bon Petite Robe or whatever it’s called.
