My preschooler is having low grade fever for the past 4 days. NO other symptoms, but in the first day she woke up complaining of headache and tummy ache, after she came dow with a fever I took her to the ped who did a strep test - negative.
She wakes up fine but in the afternoon she develops a fever - no more complains of headache or stomach ache. Any ideas? |
Ebola. Definitely Ebola.

DS 12 has had the same thing - low grade fever (99-100) all day except when he wakes up in the morning. Just wish it was be over. He's been sick since Sunday evening.
My son had this on and off for a few months. Turned out to be Lyme's.
This is going around dc's school. A friend has had a fever for a week. Docs have ruled out everything they can test for.
My 7yo has had this the last three days, and I think I'm coming down with it.
Well don't go bowling
Strep test has to get right into the culture for positive . To the left or right and it's negative
Could simply be fighting off a virus. My daughter had something like this for 6 days. Took her to the ped on day 3 and then 6. And then it was done.
Any other symptoms? Did he feel lousy? When I had Lyme I initially felt like I had been hit by a truck. |
Just a virus.
Its a virus but you might want to test for mono.
Yeah it's a virus. My DD has had it for a week and we appear to be winding down. Although she had an awful cough and a higher fever earlier on, it is just a low grade fever now.
Any pain on her right side?
