Where to stay in the Florida Keys with 3 under 5?

| We are thinking of flying into Miami and heading down to the Keys. We are looking to keep the trip as simple as possible. I would like to stay some place with a pool and kitchen. We would prefer to rent a condo. What location would be good for little kids? Any suggestions on condo rentals? Was planning to look on VRBO. |

60 miles from Miami, 60 miles to Key West. Aside from the hotel, they have rental units. We liked it. |

| Not a condo, but we stayed in a suite at the Sheraton Key West with a 2.5 yo and an 8 month old, and loved it. It's on the edge of town in KW, right by the beach. There's a great pool on the property, the suite has two rooms and includes a kitchenette (sink, fridge, microwave), and there's a shuttle if you want to go into the center of town. |
