I'm not one to post on FB or call up a friend to ask them to think of me, so figure I'll post here since it's anonymous.

My dad is in the ER with complicated breathing and they are worried about blood clots because of abnormal lab levels. He has several co morbidities which make his health precarious at times. Could just use some positive vibes sent our way! Hoping it's something easily treatable!

OP, I am sorry to hear this and wish your dad the best, but may I ask a side-line question: What are "positive vibes?" Is that the PC way to say "prayers?"

Sorry OP! It's never easy to watch a parent struggle. Hang in there. And call your friends. That's what they're there for.

OP here. Haha figured id get asked that! It's not a PC way (well ok I suppose it is). I'm not particularly religious so that's why I don't ask for prayers. Plus I'll take whatever people want to send, prayers, well wishes, an extra glass of wine for me, whatever!!

i was going through something rough lately and found a site where people will pray for you. i am as unreligious as it gets but found it comforting. i am sure you can google something.
