I follow a vlog by ConceiveaBaby: https://www.youtube.com/user/ConceiveABaby/videos
She suffered the loss of her husband from a car accident during their IVF 2ww - and she's now pregnant. This all just happened in the last couple of weeks. She hasn't been working and they, in a horrible coincidence, cancelled his life insurance policy to trim the fat off their bills a few weeks ago. Another youtube user in the community set up a gofundme account for her. I don't know her or the family but feel so horrible for her, I just had to share her story in the hope someone out there can somehow help her with kind some words or even financially (I understand if this post gets deleted - it just broke my heart). |
| Don't send money to this person. |
I looked at the account and saw what appears to be a lot of family and friends leaving comments. This would be something horrible to lie about, I can't even imagine someone going through the trouble. I guess crazier things have happened... |
| This is real. There is an online obituary for her husband and he was clearly in her videos and now he is not - http://traditionalfunerals.com.au/tribute/kirchner-royce-4630. There is a gofundme account - http://www.gofundme.com/kristyandroyce if anyone wants to donate. |
| very sad story... but what I don't buy is cancelling of a life insurance. DH wanted to cancel life insurance. Called the company and they advised him just to stop payments. You go into "default" on the insurance, but it is upto 6 months, and you can still reinstate (even after death occurred) by paying 6 month premiums. We were explained that this is with all life insurances because of some law... |
| They are in Australia so I'm sure the laws are different there, but maybe they will be able to get something from the life insurance since it was only canceled 4 weeks ago. |
I wonder if because they're in Australia regulations or just the company itself doesn't work that way. Truly just a horrible coincidence. |
| How terrible. |
