Desperately in need of a pediatric sleep specialist in the D.C. metro area.

She speaks to our parents of twins group regularly and I found her talk extremely informative and helpful. She does lots of one on one work with families, on the phone and in person. She's kind, non-judgmental, and flexible in approach. (For instance, she will tell you that all approaches work - sleep training, CIO, cosleeping, etc... - that it's just a function of figuring out what works for you and your family.

Good luck!

I know there are other speciailists in the area who do this also - you might search on the parenting forum and the nanny forums to see if that pulls up another name or two for you.

Me again - I did the search for you and here are two more that have been recommended in the last year.

Hey Op - did you see this?

Kind of feeling like I shouldn't have bothered doing the work for you at this point.

Ok, good. Hope it helps. I've been in the sleep deprived camp and it sucks.
