How many men's suits for work?

For men, if you wears suits to work, how many suits do you own?
Ladies, any idea how many suits your dh has?

2 weeks' worth + 1 for emergencies, so 11.

2 custom, 3 well fitted off the rack, 3 so so. I wear a suit generally 2 days a week, otherwise dress pants and sport coat. I have 4 sport coats, all custom. Never felt a need for more. I replace every 3-4 years.

when I was young and short of money but had to wear suits this was more or less what I had, plus a couple that were only appropriate for either warmer or colder weather. So I'd say in any given week I had about 4 to choose from.
