Nashville-The Show

I really like this show but Scarlett is the worst actress. Everything about her is annoying. I thought she was bad last season and had hopes she would be less annoying this season but Im already sick of her.

The way she speaks is really grating.

It's a cartoon.

The writing is awful, the scenes are short & choppy ...

However, it has fantastic musical direction by people like Buddy Miller, T-Bone Burnett and J.D. Souther, so I watch it (I have a friend who is a long-time established Nashville musician so can both enjoy it and laugh at it, at the same time).

I liked her in the beginning, but now she's just wimpy and whiney, unfortunately. Not a big fan of Zoey either. Rayna and Juliette, as well as the male characters, are well written I think.

I enjoy the show overall.

Also, this last epissode where Juliette shows up at her managers house crying...he was totally bald. I knew he had a bad hair piece but is that the first time they have shown him bald?

If you were awoken in the middle of the night, it was definitely realistic and the hair piece definitely isn't. (I really wish they'd have him ditch the hair piece. Men look better with their natural hair line, cut short, regardless of what it is.)

BTW, I agree with you OP, Scarlett is annoying.

Avery's tearful scene was fantastic at the end of the episode.

I like the show a lot, and Scarlett doesn't really bother me. (Her skin and hair are so gorgeous that I just enjoy the visuals of her scenes.) I love that the show portrays a 40+ year old woman who is such a sexual and romantic person. I LOVE Juliette's character and the complicated relationship she and Rayna have.

Friend of a friend's father in real life. He's not a professional actor, but rather a lawyer who acted in local theater than got that job on the show. Basically a bunch of the secondary talent on the show came from the local talent pool since hthey film there. I guess that made it cheaper also.

He's a perfectly fine actor. It's just refreshing to see him without the very obvious hair piece. Hope they keep it that way.

Love the show, but I tire of the whining of some of the characters episode after episode.

I think an obviously fake hairpiece is perfectly appropriate for the character of a manager in Nashville's music industry. I hope they keep it. And the fact that he answered the door to Juliette without putting it on revealed the intimacy of their relationship and reinforced his line in the episode about feeling like a father to her.
