Uh, what is controversial about pointing out a team’s strengths? This board is replete with talk of players strengths (ever read a DG post)? Saying Stars has a strong middie line and some good defenders, for example, is totally in keeping with respectful conversation for this thread which devolves into truly awful back and forths.

I think that is the problem. It’s like saying what is Biden good at these days. It exposes Stars weaknesses more than demonstrates their strengths so I get the reluctance to comment.

From the tryout reminder email yesterday:

"To ensure a fair tryout process, players should wear clothing without logos (no high school or club logos showing)."

I am happy to hear they want this to be a fair process as much as possible.
