What do boys typically wear to Homecoming?

I was anticipating the navy blue blazer/khakis, but now I'm wondering if my DS will be the only one not wearing a suit. Any thoughts? TIA!

No.

Suit would be better. The girls are very dressed-up. A suit would a better match. However, having said that, the jacket will end up on the floor. Younger men would probably prefer a carefully selected dress shirt/tie combination (when my son went if was all about black)

Parents will wish for the young men to have a suit on for pictures.

If you DS wears a sports coat, choose navy, and dark pants. He shouldn't wear khaki pants - it's an evening activity, not a golf outing.

It can really vary depending on the school.

Depends on the school. At our private all the boys wear khakis and blue blazers. A suit would be way overdressed. Girls wear short dresses. Just check with some friends who have kids that have gone. They will tell you what is the norm.
