| I am mid-30s with very fair, but not porcelain-toned, skin. Most blushes that seem like good ideas either aren't visible at all or look clownish. I need a little color for the pale skin but not TOO much. Any suggestions? |
| Get thee to Sephora and tell them what you are looking for. |
| Yeah, you can't pick based on online recommendations. Skin tone is everything. Go to Sephora or Nordstrom (I'd say the Laura Mercier counter will be your best bet - very subtle colors and look) and try a couple out. |
| Don't be afraid to try a blush that looks like bright orange or apricot in the stick or powder. I have very pale skin and look best in blushes that look orange. Of course, they don't look orange on. I love NARS Turks and Caicos but they don't make it anymore. |
They brought it back! I'm buying one now. On it looks peachy, sheer, and natural. |

I have very fair skin with the same problem. Most are too pink or too orange - not natural at all. The best tone for me is one that has an earthy wine color. It should look quite dark in the package but if you apply it lightly, it will be just right, looking natural.
Something like this: http://www.drugstore.com/boots-no7-natural-blush-cream-pink-blush/qxp472187?catid=183545 I like the cream blushes - just one swipe with your finger and then blend it into you skin. |

Benefit color stain tint?
I am obsessed with NARS 'orgasm' in the multiple stick - it is a beautiful color. |

Definitely a cream. My daughter can wear powder. I think powder just doesn't work after your get beyond a certain age.

Here are a few of my suggestions:
NARS Douceur, Deep Throat, or Sex Appeal http://www.sephora.com/blush-P2855?skuId=1263573 Benefit Dandelion (this may be too pale if you already have a slight natural flush to your cheeks, but give it a look in person) http://www.sephora.com/dandelion-P38347?skuId=650226 A pale coral, like CR01 or CR02 from Missha. They are a Korean cosmetic brand and thus have a lot of products that are good for pale-skinned ladies. http://www.misshaus.com/all/makeup/face/blush/the-style-defining-blusher.html |
| I have pale skin and NARS Orgasm looks great. Frankly, I think that blush looks good on almost everyone. I also use a sheer highlighting blush--you can find Neutrogena's in the drugstore. |
Agree on Nars Orgasm for pale skin! I'm not sure it comes in a cream... I've found Nars Penny Lane very similar but a cream. |
+1 to the Nars Orgasm. I am quite pale and also wear Chanel Rose Ecrin. It's a nice, not overwhelming color. |
| Another pale skin person who wears Nars Orgasm. Like a pp said, it supposedly looks good on all skin tones. I bought it b/c magazine articles said that and I am not great with makeup. So far, I've been happy. I believe it does come in a stick but I have the powder version. |
| One more vote for NARS Orgasm and I'm about as pale as you can get. It can be applied to look very subtle and natural or more noticeable if that is preferred. |
I was going to suggest Dandelion! Love it, very subtle, but a little bit shimmery. |
